I’m so hyped for this upcoming Laos trip—it’s about to be next-level epic! From exploring the aesthetic streets of Luang Prabang to chasing those Insta-worthy waterfalls like Kuang Si and cruising into dreamy sunsets, it’s giving main character energy. Vang Vieng is gonna be wild—think ziplining over waterfalls, floating down the river with tipsy tubing vibes, and catching sunrise views from a hot air balloon. And don’t even get me started on Vientiane! The Patuxay Monument, chill sunsets at Chao Anouvong Park, and diving into the night market scene are all gonna be fire. Add in scooter rides, secret foodie spots, and non-stop adventure, and this trip is about to be a whole vibe. Laos, I’m coming for you!

 

Daywise Itinerary: 17-April to 23-April

Day 1: Land in Vientiane Or Take a Bullet train from Bangkok to Vientiane
Day 2: Explore Lao’s culture and heritage
Day 3: Bullet train to Vang Vieng for Party life
Day 4: Tipsy Tubing and Nightlife
Day 5: Bullet train to Vientiane
Day 6: Explore hot air balloons and the most beautiful sunsets
Day 7: Back to Vientiane and fly back home

Days 1-2: Vientiane

Take the train to Vientiane, the laid-back capital of Laos. Admire the grand Patuxay Monument and explore the historic Haw Phra Kaew, rich with artefacts and stunning architecture. Discover the art of Laotian textiles, visit the serene Wat That Khao, and wrap up your evenings with magical sunsets at Chao Anouvong Park along the Mekong River.

 

Days 3-4: Vang Vieng
Hop on a scenic train ride to Vang Vieng, a haven for adventure seekers. Rent a scooter and head to the thrilling Tad Fane Zipline, explore the mystical Tham Chang Cave, and hike up to Nam Xay Viewpoint for panoramic landscapes. End the day with a dreamy hot air balloon ride optional over the countryside. On Day 4, experience the iconic tipsy tubing down the river, stopping at lively riverside bars. Explore the Night Market, indulge in local food, and enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Vang Vieng.

Days 5-6: Luang Prabang

Kick off your journey in the charming UNESCO-listed Old Town, where cobblestone streets and colonial vibes await. Explore the Bamboo Bridge and Big Bridge, catch mesmerizing views from Sunset Point, and dive into the bustling Night Market for local food and unique finds. Indulge in a slice of heaven at Secret Pizza, unwind on a sunset cruise, and party the night away or hit the quirky bowling alley. On Day 2, embrace nature at Kuang Si Waterfalls and Tat Sae Waterfalls, soaking in the crystal-clear waters and serene surroundings.

Day 7: Departure
Spend your final morning soaking in the peaceful vibes of Laos. Enjoy a bowl of khao piak sen (Laotian noodle soup) and pick up last-minute souvenirs before heading home, with memories that will last a lifetime.
