Zanzibar\, also known as the Spice Islands\, has been a major source of the world’s supply of cloves\, nutmeg\, cinnamon\, and black pepper for centuries. \n\n\n\n\nThere is evidence of civilization in Zanzibar dating back 20\,000 years. It has seen waves of settlement and colonization from ancient Persian traders to the Portuguese and British. The result is a fascinating modern island with a diverse population and a welcoming spirit towards visitors to their beautiful tropical home. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 1(22-Aug): Nairobi\n\nDay 2(23-Aug): Masai Mara -Evening Safari \nDay 3(24-Aug): Masai Mara- Full Day Safari \nDay 4(25-Aug): Masai Mara- Morning Safari \nDay 5(26-Aug): Fly to Zanzibar- Stone town \nDay 6(27-Aug): Kendwa Beach \nDay 7(28-Aug) : Kendwa Beach \nDay 8(29-Aug): Take a late evening flight and Fly Back Home  \n\n\nDay 1: Nairobi\, Kenya\nNairobi is the world’s only major city with a game reserve and today you will be introduced and welcomed to this incredible city. You will usually be introduced to your group at about 8:00 hr but if you arrive early\, you could try one of the Nairobi Urban Adventures to pass the time.  Feel free to join your new travel companions for an optional dinner\, alternately you can venture out on your own. \nAccommodation: Hotel (1 night)\nMeals: No meals included \nDay 2: Masai Mara National Reserve\, Kenya\nAfter breakfast from your hotel in Nairobi\, we will pick you up and leave for Masai Mara. We drive through the great Rift valley to the Maasai Mara National Park. This enormous reserve is actually part of the Serengeti Vast Plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest Migration and is home to big 5: Lion\, Elephant\, Leopard\, Buffalo and Rhino. You will stop at a remote area\, Loita Hills\, which is home to the Masai people who are famed for their jewellery and bright red attire. A local elder will give you an intriguing talk filled with insights into this incredible culture and you will have an opportunity to visit a traditional Masai home and its cattle enclosures before continuing to the outskirts of the Masai Mara. Lunch at our camp and relax. \nEvening Game Drive (1) \nAccommodation: Permanent Tented Camp/Rooms\nMeals: Breakfast\, Lunch\, Dinner\nIncluded Activity: Masai Village Visit \nDay 3: Masai Mara National Reserve\, Kenya\nAfter the morning breakfast at 6.30 am\, you will leave for a full day game drive with packed lunch.\nThe search for the great wild animals continues. On the plains are large herds of Herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. There have been some 95 species of mammals\, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant\, and it is\, for this reason\, a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo\, elephant\, leopard\, lion\, and rhino). The midday meals will be at the picnic Mara River migration point.
