Travelling to Nepal by bus

DTC has introduced its “Delhi- Kathmandu-Delhi” International Bus Service with effect from 25th Nov 2014. The Air-Conditioned luxury bus deployed for this service has a 2X2 comfortable seating arrangement.

The “Service” is operated from Dr. Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal near Delhi Gate. We will go by this Bus only.

Day 0 (May 1)
The trip will start/end from Delhi Dr Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal near Delhi Gate
8 am: Meet as a group and know each other
9 am: check-in process by bus authorities, check the link for required documents and follow that. It is important and only your responsibility to provide proper documentation for the bus trip, failure will be your irresponsibility and there will be no refunds..
10 am: Board the bus to reach the next day.
 
Day 1: Kathmandu
Reach Kathmandu and get transferred to the hotel.
Today, after proper rest, we will explore this beautiful city.
Pashupatinath Temple 
In the heart of Kathmandu lies Pashupatinath Temple, where legend tells of a humble farmer named Raju who encountered Lord Shiva himself. Impressed by Raju’s kindness, Shiva blessed him with prosperity, inspiring generations of pilgrims to seek blessings at this sacred site.
Bouddha (15 min by cab)
Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu is a symbol of peace and spiritual harmony. Surrounded by colorful prayer flags fluttering in the breeze, it stands as one of the largest stupas in the world. Pilgrims and visitors alike gather here to circumambulate the stupa, spinning prayer wheels and offering prayers, creating a serene atmosphere that transcends time and space. The intricate carvings, vibrant paintings, and the watchful eyes of the Buddha atop the stupa draw people from all walks of life, seeking solace and enlightenment in its sacred presence. Patan city
Patan, also known as Lalitpur, is a city steeped in history and culture, located just south of Kathmandu in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. Renowned for its exquisite Newari architecture and rich heritage, Patan is a treasure trove of ancient temples, palaces, and intricately carved wooden structures.
Swoyyambhu Machachaitya
Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, is an ancient and revered site perched atop a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Its iconic white stupa, adorned with the watchful eyes of the Buddha, is a symbol of enlightenment and wisdom.

Day 2: Nagarkot (See Mount Everest)
7am: Breakfast
8 am: Today, we will move to a new place in Nepal.
Nagarkot, a serene hilltop village located just east of Kathmandu in Nepal, is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. Situated at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, Nagarkot offers visitors a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

VISA POLICY

Do Indians Need a Visa to Visit Nepal? No, Indian passport holders do not require a visa to travel to Nepal. It is important to note that citizens from most other nations must have a visa to enter Nepal. This exception is only extended to Indian citizens. Still, check with the visa authorities as we are not responsible for it.

 

Anything which is unforeseen and occurs as an expense shall be shared by the entire group.

Cancellation Terms

Booking fee(Non-refundable) : INR 5,000/- (Inc. in total trip cost)

Minimum 50% payment to be completed 60 days prior to departure

The remaining payments are to be completed 30 days prior to departure

We follow a no refund policy but you can use the amount in the next 2 trips (international)

Q. Is travelling during a pandemic easy?

The pandemic is not allowing us to travel the way we were travelling in past and the future is not clear so you should be prepared for a sudden change in the plans without intimation. Things can change overnight and even countries can go under lockdown and in these situations, none can do anything. So if you are travelling with us then be prepared to take this kind of risk and then only finalise your plans.TBT will not be responsible for any such event and no refunds will be made, all the costs will be borne by the member who is joining us.

Q. Trip requirements?

A vaccine (both shots) certificate will be required and the trip will be based on the current guidelines of the travel country for Indian travellers. You might need a booster shot as well if your 2nd dose has surpassed 9 months on the day of travel.

Which visa is needed for this trip?

Ans: Visa for Thailand.

Q. Refund Policy

Ans: No refund 15 days before the trip. No reasons will be considered. Book after planning properly.
