Separating the Assam valley from the plains of Bangladesh, hilly Meghalaya (‘the abode of clouds’) is a cool, pine-fresh mountain state set on dramatic horseshoes of rocky cliffs. Cherrapunjee and Mawsynram are among the wettest places on Earth; most of the rain falls between June and September, creating very impressive waterfalls and carving out some of Asia’s longest caves.
Day 1 (June 28):
9 am: Land Early morning in Guwahati and start a road trip towards Shillong.
12-1pm: Check-in hotel

Day 2 (June 29): Waterfalls & Worlds Biggest Cave Fish World (Krem Chympe)
Krem Chympe is the 5th longest cave in India. Hidden in the forests of Jaintia Hills, Krem Chympe and Chympe Waterfalls are two such places that will completely amaze you.if you are lucky then you can see worlds biggest cave fish also here. Krem Chympe, a offbeat world which will make surprise with its raw beauty and road is full of adventure.
We will travel to kremlin Chympe and explore caves and waterfall and start our journey to Dawki with exploring some off the most gorgeous waterfalls of Northeast.

In the evening we will reach the most clearest lake off India, i.e Dawki River

Day 3 (June 30) DAWKI
Dawki is famous for its crystal-clear river called Umngot, which flows through the village. The Umngot River is a major tourist attraction, and its transparent waters allow visitors to see the riverbed and fish swimming beneath the surface.The suspension bridge over the Umngot River, known as the Dawki Bridge or Dawki Bridge of Love, is a significant landmark in the area and offers breathtaking views of the river and surrounding landscapes.

After that we will start our journey to a fairy tail place name Langkawet.
Langkawet is a small hamlet located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya at about 48 Km from the capital city of Shillong. The region is exceptionally beautiful with vast expanses of shrubs, tress, rocky hills and a natural lake and waterfall are set right amidst all the greenery. The small hamlet of Langkawet consists of about sixty households and is perched atop a canyon.

The Bamboo Trail is known for its serene ambience, with the rustling of bamboo leaves and the gentle sway of the tall bamboo shoots creating a peaceful atmosphere. As you walk along the trail, you can appreciate the beauty of the towering bamboo trees and the intricate patterns they create against the sky.

Day 5 (July 2) Double Decker Living Root Bridge
The Double Decker Living Root Bridge is a marvel of bioengineering, where the roots of ancient rubber trees are trained to form a bridge over a river. It consists of two levels, hence the name “Double Decker.” The bridge is strong enough to support the weight of multiple people and is still used by the local villagers as a means of crossing the river.

Day 6 (July 3) Dommurok View Point
Markham Valley, a vantage point from which there is a broad view of the low-lying hills from the hill’s summit. Depending on your luck, just after the rains in the early morning, you can witness a beautiful sight of a cloud formation covering these hills.
