We have always believed that food plays a very important part during your travel. Dinning with Aspen Camp, camping in Rishikesh, will be a different experience altogether in the lap of nature.
Our F&B team is lead by an Ex-Hyatt Chef, plus a number of trained kitchen staff to ensure that the aspects of TASTE and HYGIENE are maintained. Meals are laid in buffet, which offers delicacies of Indian, Mughlai, Continental and Chinese cuisines. Also, we use Skorr Chafing Stands (the ones used during weddings) to keep the food and ready to eat.
Safety
This is one area we are most serious about. We are the only ones in the business to have maintained an impeccable safety record. We are very firm when it comes upon the safety of our guests or any staff.
The entire campsite is fenced with barbed wire. All the units are chemically treated to ensure that we are safe from snakes and insects. We strictly adhere to the international safety code of conduct and all our outdoor instructors and trip leaders are First AID and CPR certified from Red Cross, India.
The camp has an in-house medical room with basic first aid facilities and rescue equipment’s. We only use state of art equipment’s for all adventure activities. It is for this reason; we have maintained our own equipment’s for outdoor activities. Then, twice in every year, our outdoor trainers undergo a training session for enhancement of their skills.
For Camping:
- We request our guests not to leave the camp facility without informing the trip leader or the Camp Manager. As a standard practice, an escort is mandatory with the guests, whenever they wish to leave the camp.
- We don’t encourage nor allow, guests to cross the river, post sunset and without the supervision of a trip leader.
- Smoking/ use of lanterns inside the tents are strictly prohibited, as it can cause a fire hazard.
For Camping:
- Intake of alcohol is strictly prohibited at least four hours prior to any adventure activity.
- Guests with the concerns of Blood pressures, Heart, Epilepsy, Expecting Mothers and any severe back related ailments are not permitted to participate in extreme adventures like rafting, bungee jump, flying fox etc.
- Life Jackets, Helmets and other safety equipment’s are must for any adventure activity.
- Non Swimmers/First Timers may be restricted to certain sections of the river, or shall be on the discretion of the chief river instructor/ Trip Leader/ Operations Manager.
Cancellation Policy
#Cancellations made 15 or more days before check in date will be free.
#Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance but less than 15 days will incur a cancellation charge of 1 nights tariff.
#No shows and cancellations made 0 to 7 days in advance will incur 100% charge of the booking.
#In case of a full refund on cancellation, there will be a deduction of approximately 5.7% as payment processing charges.
