Brief Itinerary :
DAY 1: Land in Guwahati and reach Shillong
Day 1 (July 20): Guwahati to Shillong
PS: Land before 9am.
9 am: Land Early morning in Guwahati and start a road trip towards Shillong.
12-1 pm: Check-in hotel

Day 2 (July 21): Waterfalls
6am Breakfast
Meghalaya is blessed with some of the most stunning waterfalls in India, each offering a unique blend of natural beauty and serenity. Here are a few notable ones:
- Phe Phe Falls: Among the tallest plunge waterfalls in India, Phe Phe is a breathtaking sight to behold. Cascading from a height of approximately 240 meters near Cherrapunji, it’s surrounded by lush greenery and mist-covered cliffs, creating a mesmerizing ambience.
- Seven Sisters Falls: Also known as Nohsngithiang Falls, this waterfall comprises seven streams that plunge down the cliffs of the Khasi Hills. During the monsoon season, the waterfall becomes a magnificent spectacle, with water gushing down the rugged terrain in a dazzling display of nature’s power.
- Tyrshi Falls: Situated near Shillong, Divided into three sections, the waterfall offers a serene retreat amidst verdant surroundings, making it a popular spot for picnics and leisurely walks.
- Krang Suri Falls: Tucked away in the West Jaintia Hills district, Krang Suri is a hidden gem known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and picturesque setting. Surrounded by lush forests and rocky cliffs, the waterfall provides a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
In the evening we will reach Dawki, where we will camp tonight. Full night masti and some ghost story session will be there.
PS: These are basic camping so do not expect much.

Day 3 (July 22) DAWKI
Dawki is famous for its crystal-clear river called Umngot, which flows through the village. The Umngot River is a major tourist attraction, and its transparent waters allow visitors to see the riverbed and fish swimming beneath the surface.The suspension bridge over the Umngot River, known as the Dawki Bridge or Dawki Bridge of Love, is a significant landmark in the area and offers breathtaking views of the river and surrounding landscapes.

Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in Asia. It is situated 90 km. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root bridge, waterfalls, orchards and unique boulder formations.

Day 4 (July 23) Bamboo trail (optional)
The Bamboo Trail is known for its serene ambience, with the rustling of bamboo leaves and the gentle sway of the tall bamboo shoots creating a peaceful atmosphere. As you walk along the trail, you can appreciate the beauty of the towering bamboo trees and the intricate patterns they create against the sky.

Day 5 (July 24) Double Decker Living Root Bridge
The Double Decker Living Root Bridge is a marvel of bioengineering, where the roots of ancient rubber trees are trained to form a bridge over a river. It consists of two levels, hence the name “Double Decker.” The bridge is strong enough to support the weight of multiple people and is still used by the local villagers as a means of crossing the river.
